The discard pile begins with the top card in the draw pile being turned face up. Each player takes a turn drawing a card from the draw or discard pile & then discarding one card from their hand. When a pyono lifestylelayer makes sets, runs with all of their cards, & declares "Rummy," or when the draw pile runs out, the round comes to an end. The player whose hand has the fewest points wins the round if no one has declared rummy when the draw pile is empty. The value of the cards determines how many points are awarded: aces are worth one point, face cards are worth ten, and numbered cards are worth their face value.
