Three or more consecutive cards of the same suit make up a run, whereas three or more sets are groups of three or four cards of the same rank. A hand of cards is dealt to each player at the start of the game, and the remaining cards are arrhello rummyanged face down on the table to form the draw pile. Each player takes a turn drawing cards from either the draw or discard pile, building sets and runs with the cards they already have, and discarding any unwanted cards. The game goes on until one person declares "Rummy" after running and organizing all of their cards into sets. The other players now have one more chance to score by placing down any sets & runs they may have in their possession before adding up their points.
