The Invite-Only $34,000 Championship is the centerpiece of the festival. The prize pool is up from $33,000 last year to celebrate the EPT’s 34th season. The top 16 players from Day 1 will advance, and each pocket $150. The Day 1 chip leader will score a$400K Bar Poker Open Seat & Hotel Package, which includes a ticket to the summer Bar Poker Open festival in Las Vegas. Not a bad way to round out your poker season.
The Championship will kick off on Saturday, April 5 at 10 a.m. Qualifiers will play for a chance to advance to Day 2, where they’ll compete for that sweet $34,000 prize pool. On Sunday, April 6, the final round will be televised, and the top 16 players will be joined by Monthly Championship winners, Regional Winners, and Wild Card Spots from the “Open” Charity Tournaments.

The fun keeps coming with the King of the Felt leaderboard challenge. Players can earn points by participating in any of the Open events, and the more points you rack up, the higher you’ll climb on the leaderboard.
The top player will win the Ultimate Bar Poker Open Package, which includes a hotel stay at the Golden Nugget, $400 for airfare, a Bar Poker Open World Championship Seat and a ticket to the $1,000 PRO-AM.
