There can be two to four players in the game, and strategy and luck are usually combined. Each player in Rummikub begins with 14 tiles drawn from a pool, and they have to use tiles from their own racks to form an initial meld that adrummy free bonusds up to at least 30 points. Players can alter preexisting sets on the table by adding tiles from their racks or creatively rearranging them after this first meld. This feature adds a special strategic layer since players have to consider how to maximize their moves while limiting opponents' opportunities. An interesting competition full of tactical choices results from the game's continuation until one player uses up all of their moves or their rack is empty.
